A once off adoption donation (fee) of €300 will apply to all equines. Horses and ponies are expensive animals to keep. We would ask that you have a good long think about taking on a horse or pony. It is a massive commitment. It can cost on average €5,000 per year to keep a horse/pony but dont forget this is excluding emergency veterinary bills.
  5. I worry my personal circumstances may change in the future, what will happen to the horse/pony if im unable to keep him/her
Òur policy is that every equine we rehome remains our legal property. You take the animal on a loan agreement. Therefore, should for any reason your circumstances change the equine can be safely returned to L.H.P.R. No questions asked. Please note the adoption donation will not be refunded.
